Dear Franklin Area Community,
My name is Randy Stachelrodt, and I am excited to announce that I am running for the Franklin Area School Board in the upcoming election. I have been a member of the Franklin community since 1994, and all five of my children graduated from the Franklin Area High School.
I worked in the Technology Department of the Franklin Area School District for the past 24 years. In this role, I have supported the school district's network and internet infrastructure. I have also found the time to support various extra-curricular school events such as football games, track meets, high school dances (including the prom), as well as the VEX and B.E.S.T. competitive robotics teams.
In addition to my time at the school district, I served in the military for a total of 29 years. I spent four years in the United States Navy and 25 years in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. I was mobilized for multiple state active duty missions, and I was deployed four times, including twice to the Middle East. I retired from the military as a Chief Warrant Officer.
My decades of work at the Franklin Area School District have given me insight to how the schools work and a familiarity with teachers, administrators, and the other staff who work at the schools. My military experience has taught me the importance of discipline, leadership, and teamwork, skills that I believe will be beneficial in serving on the Franklin Area School Board. I am committed to our children and their future. If elected, my experience and perspective will be valuable in shaping the future direction of our schools.
I hope to earn your support and vote in the upcoming election. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about my campaign, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
